Celebrate Canada’s 151st birthday at the Indian Raja Restaurant, Sunday, July 1st at 18.00
01.07.2018

Dear CanCham Members and Friends,

We invite you to share in the celebration of Canada’s 151st birthday on the outdoor patio of the Indian Raja Restaurant. The perfect opportunity to meet Canadians from Canada, Canadians from Latvia, and Latvians who want to meet Canadians.

Families are most welcome.

Canadian Armed Forces personnel and their families are most welcome to attend at the member rates.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of Western and North Indian dishes, so everyone will find something to satisfy the taste: spicy curries, Tandoor baked naan bread and kebabs, Samosas, Onion bhaji, paneer tikka etc. Indian Raja’s experienced chefs from India will ensure that your food is cooked in accordance with all the requirements as per Indian cuisine so that you can enjoy an authentic Indian food served on your table. Then get a sweet one - Indian sweets or Mithai, are a type of confectionery that rely heavily on sugar, milk, flour and condensed milk, and cooked by frying, however the bases of the sweets vary by region. Try the Mango Lassi - customer favourites. The most refreshing drink on earth. This cooling yoghurt drink, popular throughout the Indian subcontinent. Utterly delicious.

A special menu will includes choices of food for Canadian tastes (hamburgers) and/or samplings of Indian Raja delicacies, and 2 drinks per person (wine, beer, juice).
