please register here Note: the entrance is from 5 VALMIERAS iela "Celebrating Canada, Building Connections: CanCham’s Canada Day Business Networking BBQ 2026" Dear CanCham Members and Friends, The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (CanCham) is pleased to invite you to our annual Canada Day Business Networking BBQ, as we celebrate the 159th Anniversary of Canada together with members of the Canadian, Latvian, and international business communities. This popular summer gathering provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, establish new business contacts, and engage with professionals from a broad range of industries in a relaxed outdoor setting. Whether you are a long-time member, a new participant, or simply interested in expanding your professional network, we welcome you to join us. The event will bring together CanCham members, Canadian Armed Forces personnel, representatives of the Embassy of Canada in Latvia, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals who share an interest in strengthening Canada–Latvia business and community ties. Guests will enjoy a traditional Canadian-style BBQ featuring hamburgers, foil-wrapped potatoes, and salad. A welcome drink is included in the admission price, and a cash bar will be available throughout the event. A special children's menu, consisting of a hamburger and soft drink, will be available for children aged 6–14. We are grateful to our member RigaApartment.com for hosting the event at the beautiful Sonada Hotel Gardens and to TINTO Wine Restaurant for providing the catering. We are also pleased that Mārtiņš Šmits from Canada has once again agreed to undertake DJ duties, helping create a distinctly Canadian atmosphere for the celebration. Special gifts provided by the Embassy of Canada in Latvia and CanCham will be awarded through a prize draw during the evening. Canadian Armed Forces personnel are welcome to attend at member rates. Bring your colleagues, business associates, family members, and friends (please register all attendees) and join us for an enjoyable evening of networking, conversation, and celebration.
