The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (CanCham) is pleased to announce that it was accepted as a member of the Foreign Investors Council in Latvia (FICIL) on September 17th, 2025.
FICIL (https://www.ficil.lv/) is a non-governmental organisation that brings together the largest foreign companies from various countries and sectors that have made significant investments in Latvia, as well as Chambers of Commerce in Latvia and Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
FICIL consists of the foreign investors-activists that are deeply integrated into the Latvian economy, possess policy-relevant expertise and seeks to promote the countrys long-term development. It maintains a continuous engagement with highly reputable policy-related local and international stakeholders and focuses on systematic issues that impact all (local and foreign) socially and environmentally responsible investors in Latvia.
