A new milestone for the Riga Business School (https://rbs.lv/) was celebrated at the official opening of their new home at RTU - Rīgas Technical University, on Ķīpsalas 6 on November 5th, 2025.
As Director of RBS, Inese Muzikante, and RBS Advisory Board Chairman, Viesturs Kuļikovskis, highlighted, being part of one campus with RTU strengthens their shared vision, supports innovation, and deepens the commitment to developing the next generation of leaders. Integration into RTUs academic environment is a crucial step bringing management, entrepreneurship, engineering, and science closer together and creating new opportunities for collaboration.
RTU Rector Tālis Juhna noted that this new beginning is significant not only for RBS but for RTU as a whole, strengthening and broadening the synergy between management, entrepreneurship, and engineering and exact sciences.
The Ambassador of Canada to Latvia, H.E. Brian Szwarc, honoured RBS with his presence, reflecting on the long-standing Canadian roots and the foundational role of the University of Ottawa in establishing the school.
Lana Frančeska Dreimane, representative from the Ministry of Education and Science, underlined that a building alone does not create a home it is the people, the ideas they bring, and the work they do that truly define it.
Although unable to attend in person, Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis sent warm greetings recognizing RBS role in developing thinkers, entrepreneurs, and leaders who contribute to Latvias future, while reaffirming the importance of close cooperation between academia and government.
The event gathered distinguished guests, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and partners, creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the strength and spirit of the RBS community. Heres to new spaces, new ideas, and the community!
